First time i tried Tim Ho Wan 添好运was at their Hong Kong branch, leave a deep impression on me. Second time when i saw Tim Ho Wan again, it was at Malaysia. Tim Ho Wan, the most famous Dim Sum restaurant in Hong Kong, also marched its way with pride into the prestigious Michelin guide parade, minority of restaurant with reasonable price can graded with Michelin guide parade and Tim Ho Wan did it! Prices per dish start at RM6.80.
To make sure Tim Ho Wan Dim Sum is publishing high quality, chefs start working at 5am everyday. The daily freshly made dim sum which has won the plaudits of food critics and the hearts of epicureans around the world, impeccable foods also attracting long queues of people at its restaurants sprawling across the region such as in Hong Kong, Singapore, Manila, Taiwan and Malaysia.
At Tim Ho Wan, you must try their best seller a.k.a signature dishes 'Four Heavenly Kings' which is Baked Bun with BBQ Pork / Vermicelli Roll Stuffed with Pork Liver/ Pan Fried Carrot Cake and Steamed Egg Cake. Definitely not to be missed!

Wonton noodle is the famous noodles in Hong Kong, Tim Ho Wan imported all noodle from Hong Kong to present the authentic taste of real Hong Kong Wonton noodle to Malaysians. Every 'Wonton' (dumpling) filling with juicy prawn, it is value for money.

Chicken Soup with  Chinese Yam and Wolfberry  淮山枸杞炖鸡汤  RM 14.80
Double boiled soup contains chicken feet, chicken, pork, wolf berry and red dates, nourishing meal to warm your tummy. 

For pork knuckles lovers, definitely cannot miss this out. Pork knuckles braised into perfection and cooks into divine succulent sticky goop, springy and succulent.

This is the only fried rice in Evening Special menu. Serve with succulent prawns and lots of tangy savoury char siew bits and pork floss. Suitable for all ages. 

To keep surprising patrons, Tim Ho Wan will introduce new and irresistible dishes throughout the year. Different chef recommendations menu will be available at different outlets, so don't be surprise if you can't have the dish you want, it might be launch at another outlet. But these menu are on rotation and patrons still can try them at their preferred Tim Ho Wan outlet during different months.

Steamed Fish Maw with Prawn Paste 百花酿鱼肚    RM 14.80
Fresh and bouncy fish maw steamed with prawn paste, springy pieces of fish maw is the added kick.
Dumpling with Spicy Sauce 辣汁饺子     RM 15.80
Looks like Si Chuan style dumpling but it's not, filling with chives and minced pork, dipped in special spicy black vinegar sauce. Tender and stringy chew in every bites, so flavourful! 
Traditional Baked Egg Tarts 酥皮蛋挞   RM 9.80
Due to strong demand of egg tart, it become a regular item for Mid Valley outlet. Personally love this egg tarts so much! Unlike another traditional egg tart, Tim Ho Wan egg tarts made daily from fresh eggs, buttery crust and with a silky centre. The most surprising part is i can taste ginger! Each crumbly mouthful is simply gratifying and slightly with ginger aroma in your mouth, something like Hong Kong famous dessert steamed egg with ginger juice (姜汁炖蛋).

Salted Fried Fish Skin 七味炸鱼皮    RM 10.80
Crunchy fish skin with seasoning powder, this is a best appertizer to pair with beers but also can be the snack to be enjoy by everyone. 
Cereal Chicken Nuggets  麦片鸡球    RM 15.80
Pieces of chicken breast tenders are coated in crispy cereal, slightly sweet and savory. Kids will love it!
Quail Egg Siew Mai  春旦烧卖   RM 11.80
Such a presentable and cute Siew Mai, topped with quail egg, simply delicious to indulge.
Just back from Hong Kong and of course tried their dim sum also, aww.... miss it so much! but there are different menu between Hong Kong and Malaysia, i was happy that Tim Ho Wan always maintain their quality. With its Michelin Star status to keep up with, Tim Ho Wan guarantees you a gastronomic dining experience at affordable price!
