The campaign aims to raise awareness of the Foundation and harness the spirit of giving. Ms. Carly Paoli believed that our future is built on the ability of children to dream, pursue their dreams and inspire others to believe in a better tomorrow.
We were treated with special performance by the sensational Ms. Carly Paoli. Her voice is so amazing and truly impressed! Feel so blessed when i had chance to listen her live performance.
Ms. Carly Paoli activated a Christmas ferris-wheel to officiates the launch of Starhill Gallery's Christmas Charity Drive.
Being able to support Dignity for Children Foundation, she giving away gifts to 30 children from Dignity who were present at this ceremony. The gifts to fulfil the children's wishes were generously donated by Starhill Gallery and its esteemed tenants, namely Bedat & Co, Carrera y Carrera, Cecil Purnell, Cortina, Garrard & Co, Gubelin, Hermes and Mouawad.
The lovely afternoon was mesmerised with afternoon tea at Newens Tea House.
Maids of Honour cakes
Newens Tea House, it all started with the dainty Maid of Honour cakes after which Newens is named. Henry VIII, King of England in the 1500's was so delighted by taste of Maid of Honour cakes that he immediately confiscated the recipe and demanded it be kept secret in Richmond Palace. Now, Newens brought this secret recipe to Malaysia and for first enjoyed by none other than King henry VIII in the 1500’s.
I was pampered by afternoon tea at this perfect harmony and pleasant surroundings. Definitely this is not to be miss, the world famous Original Maids of Honour cakes!
Enjoyed fancy afternoon tea set, scrumptiously sweet and yet slightly savoury. =)
