New Menu 2018 @ SOULed OUT Ampang

It’s been a while since my last visit at SOULed OUT Ampang after i quit my job, yay! my ex-office is just located nearby the area. With a storied history of more than two decades on the Malaysian food scene, the SOULed OUT Group of restaurants is known for its SO Lip Smacking Food that inspires returning regulars to recommend it to friends and family. Couple that with good service and a chill ambience, SOULed OUT is an ideal place for friends and family to hob nob with homey feel. 
The Ampang branch is the first SOULed OUT franchisee, recently has been extended the franchise agreement for another five years and revamped its menu with more than 50 new additions to take customers on a culinary adventure around the globe without having to leave the comfort of their seats.
From reimagined vegetarian classics like ‘Sawadee Salad’ and ‘Patatas Bravas’, to authentic yet elevated comfort foods including modern takes on ‘Bakso’, ‘Kake Udon’ and ‘Lamb Pie’, the new food offerings bring a slew of the most iconic dishes from around the world to SOULed OUT. No matter what you are in the mood for, you can get it at SOULed OUT Ampang with their wider range of taste profiles. 
Sawadee Salad    RM 23
A bowl with fresh greens, four angle beans, tossed with cashew nuts, hard-boiled egg and chicken, complemented by Thai inspired creamy dressing.
Bakso   RM 17
Bakso known as Indonesian beef balls, featuring crispy wanton skin and celery leaves in a beef broth,   atop a bed of glass noodles, served with spicy sambal.
Bangers & Mash   RM 19
It is a traditional dish of Great Britain, fatty smoked chicken sausages with creamy garlic mash and baby peas, the ultimate comfort food that paired perfectly with ale.
 Beef Ragout   RM 23
A meaty sauce of roughly ground beef in a rich Italian sauce.
 Bhuna Chawal   RM 18
A slightly spicy Indian styled fried rice wokked with cauliflower, chicken and prawns. It is flavourful, try think about it when spicy fried rice craving strikes you.
Classic Steamed Mussels   RM 39
Black mussels soaked in white wine with garlic, parsley and shallots, accompanied with village bread.
 Kake Udon   RM 21
Udon noodles in a clear dashi soup, topped with Japanese fishcake roll, chicken, poached egg and spinach. 
Patatas Bravas  RM 9
A pot of cuts of potato which fluffy on the inside whilst crispy on the out, served with mayo, such a savoury light bites!

On the SO Thirst Quenching Drinks front, 8 new playfully unique cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks launched such as the adventurous ‘Jackfruit Mojito’ will wet whistles and bring grins to the most jaded of beverage connoisseurs. 
 Guinness Chocolate Milkshake   RM 21
As the name says, this is a combination of Guinness, chocolate syrup, cheesecake syrup and vanilla frappe. I like the stronger taste in Guinness with a hint of sweetness. 
 Jackfruit Mojito   RM 28
Either love it or hate it!
This jackfruit mojito featuring rum, sweet herbal liqueur, vanilla syrup, jackfruit puree, lime, mint leaves, can you imagine how is the taste like?
Spicy Dame   RM 28
Get a kick with SOULed OUT's own mix of rum, triple sec, elderflower liqueur, osmanthus syrup, red chilli, lime and mint leaves.

If you have a sweet tooth, don't miss out the new menu introduces 6 desserts with fanciful, pop-culture inspired names like ‘The Yoda’ and ‘Pink Panther’.
Pink Panther  RM 18
Dragonfruit, banana, avocado, skinny milk, yoghurt topped with dragonfruit, chia seeds, blueberries and strawberries.
Choccywocckydoodah   RM 18
 Banana, cocoa powder, hazelnut spread, skinny milk, peanut butter topped with banana, almonds, snickers and chia seeds.
 The Yoda   RM 18
Acovado, banana, spinach, skinny milk, yoghurt topped with spinach, chia seeds, kiwi fruit, pumpkin seeds and goji berries.
