High tea is a social eating for western's rich but this trend has become a regular afternoon delight for Malaysians in this recent years. It is beneficial for one’s tiring soul and destress rewards with a fancy afternoon affair.
TWG Tea was established in Singapore, it is one of the finest luxury tea brand in the world. Its growing reputation as a luxury concept that incorporates unique and original retail outlets, exquisite tea rooms and an international distribution network to professionals.With breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner specialties, as well as trendsetting tea beverages and cocktails, TWG Tea is integrating a myriad of their signature teas into savoury recipes to introducing new sensations and flavours to gourmands and tea lovers when they dine at TWG Tea.
 At first glance, your attention might be attract by the luxury interior of the tea salon but TWG does offer affordable high tea set!
We had review this normal High Tea Set, comes with one TWG tea, Tandoori Lamb Skewer with Yoghurt Mint, BBQ chicken boxing, Lobster, Walnut & Celery Sandwich, red snapper burger, Smoked Salmon, Riccota & Sundried Tomato Quiche and a variety of desserts such as matcha financier, caramelia tart, macaroons and dulcey lolly.
Price is about RM69++
* TWG tea is non-refillable, and one pot for one person only, so another person need to order one more.*
I love this Tandoori Lamb Skewer with Yoghurt Mint, the cool taste of mint and the tang of yoghurt team beautifully with the lamb skewer, really seals in the flavour!
Matcha financier is the most popular among our review, the beautifully green color by the highest grade Japanese green tea and the taste is a bit bitter, good pairing with TWG tea.
Caramelia tart, dulcey lolly, cake pops, macaroons.
 Red snapper burger, Smoked Salmon, Riccota & Sundried Tomato Quiche
Manager was strongly recommend this TWG Tea Flowers to us. TWG Tea Flowers are composed of tea leaves sewn by hand in an artisanal manner into compact shapes that ‘bloom’ like flowers when infused in a glass teapot for a unique tasting experience.
I was so addicted on their macarons which infused with some of their signature teas. My favourite macaroon is Earl Grey Fortune and the other unique flavours are also worth a try. In Singapore, their tea ice-cream is a must-eat every time i visited, too bad Malaysia didn't bring in their signature ice-cream. =(
I was tried high tea at another luxury hotels but still... personally think TWG offering the amazing patisserie and lovely dining experience. Go and try it if you’re thinking of satisfying your sweet tooth cravings.
