Some basic car maintenance can be done on your own, but you should looking for a professional to solve the serious problems. The quality of care on your vehicle can significantly extend its life, definitely help you avoid paying large sums of money in repairs throughout the years. My car is more than 8 years old, honestly i am not the one who taking good care of my ride since it damaged in an accident before, i don't even polish the paintwork at least once a year. Also, i always fetch my dogs going out and slobber in the car, drool has left a stain and i am unable to clean it. I've been searching the solution so long, recently i got a few informative tips from my friends.

One week ago, I sent my car to Ceramic Pro at Setia Alam Branch for Ceramic Pro Permanent Nano-Coating treatment. Indeed, the location is too far (60km) from me but i don't mind, just because of their awesome coating service!

This treatment is requires 1 full day from 9.30am – 5.30pm to complete the whole process.

Step 1 | Car Wash & Clay Bar Process
First, a good rinse to removes all the dirt as much as possible. Then, proceed to claying process with a clay bar to remove all impurities before the paint correction.
Step 2 | Paint Correction Stage (3 steps polish)
Involves using 3 step polishing process of removing defects such as swirl marks and scratches from a painted surfaces to achieve a flawless defect free finish.
During this process, you can see the difference of before and after, it able to return the original colour to your car.
Step 3 | Ceramic Pro spray coating application (exterior & interior)
Apply the Ceramic Pro 9 coatings onto the different surfaces – body, rims, dashboard, leather seats,and remaining part of the car.
Take note: Ceramic Pro 9H can only be professionally applied by Approved Applicators.

I was told that super hydrophobic effect of the coating will cause water to bead up and roll of the surface with any dirt and grime. Alright! It was amazing when i saw the water bead up on my car's surface during raining. It will help your car stay cleaner for longer as dirt and grime will not stick to the surface and the hard ceramic film also offers superior protection from damaging contamination and harsh chemicals. Thanks god, finally my car able to get rid of those pesky bird droppings! Can you imagine how disgusting and frustrating i felt when i saw my car "fully covered" by bird droppings after a few hours parked under a tree?
9H forms a permanent bond to the paint work and will not wash away or break down, it can only be removed by abrasion making it a highly durable protective coating to protect your paint work for damaging contaminants. The unique formulation of 9H has enabled it to be multi-layered which means the thickness of the coating can be increased with additional layers allowing a thicker / harder film that will increase its glossiness level and stronger protection against environmental fallouts (bird drops/ tree saps)

Step 4 | Infrared Curing process
After that, my car underwent an infrared curing process to permanently bond the coatings to the surface of my car, ensuring that it will last at least 7 years!
Basically, our car’s normal clear coat has hardness between 2H and 4H. However, it had made the surface more hard to above 9H with this process. Wao! It is really a huge increase in the hardness of the coated surface. No doubt Ceramic Pro is the hardest paint coating on the market today.
This pretty amazing nano technology allows the Ceramic nanoparticles to fill the smallest pores in the paint which makes the Ceramic Pro glass shield shiny, smooth and extremely slick or hydrophobic. This new glass shield as a sacrificial layer, preserving the original factory paint. Ceramic Pro dramatically lowers the surface tension preventing environmental contaminants such as: bird droppings, bugs, dirt, tar and graffiti paint from bonding to the surface. Water easily removes dirt from the surface by encapsulating it while rolling off the surface, hence the “self-cleaning effect”.
Any surface scratches that happen in the coating are easily removed with light polishing which will not weaken the integrity of the original clear coat. The paint also won’t fade or age due to the UV protection in the glass coating.
Step 5 | Magnus Pro Paint Protection Film (PPF)
Proceed to Step 5, I had the Magnus Pro Paint Protection Film (PPF) applied to my headlights, wing mirrors and door handle area to protect them against stone chips and scratches.
