If you always hang around in the Cheras area, you might always spot the long queue in front of Anne Elizabeth restaurant in the evening. Tucked in the most happening street nearby Leisure Mall, Anne Elizabeth is a deli-restaurant with the concept of “You Choose, You Pair, We Cook, We Serve”.
According to the concept, they don't have a menu, diner can mix and match their preferred proteins from the display fridge, pair it with some sides and let the chef cook it.
In conjunction with U.S. Potato Culinary Festival 2018, I am here to try out the exclusive limited-time menu featuring U.S. fresh and frozen potatoes. Many people believe they should limit potato intake because potatoes are commonly associated with unhealthy fried and processed foods. In fact, U.S. potatoes has just 110 calories only per serving, it is rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin B6 and Potassium which more than a banana, also free from fat, sodium and cholesterol.
This year, U.S. Potato Board collaborates with 14 restaurants in Klang Valley to serves up a wide creation of U.S. Potatoes until 30 of July 2018.
Featuring the freshest ingredients from premium U.S. potatoes, there are two tantalizing dishes handpicked by Anne Elizabeth : Traditional Crispy U.S. Fresh Potato Cubes and Jacket U.S. Potatoes with Sour Cream, Bacon Bites, Parmesan Cheese & Spring Onion.
