Let's Go Staycation Singapore!

February 23, 2021

During the height of the current pandemic and the lockdown kicked in, some people were experiencing worse mental health problems, some of us are getting depress while work from home but can't go out for normal socialising for a long period.

Luckily i did a staycation before locked down last year, but when the lockdown extend again and again, our borders are sealed, i was getting depress too as in need of time away from my usual routines and the potential stressors of day-to-day life. I started to check back all my travel documentaries to score that vacation feeling, missing the good ol' days of travelling.

Singapore is one of the top 3 on my bucket list now, while the vaccination is arrived and many amenities have already reopened, I believe we can travel for pleasure anytime soon .

So, let’s start planning for my upcoming staycation in Singapore!

Tips for Staycation Singapore : Hotels

First thing to do is search a nice accommodation that fit your needs. It’s important to ensure your stay is as comfortable, affordable and welcoming as possible. Location is my most concern factor because I want the hotels that are centrally located, so i can move around freely and easily.
Last round i stayed at Yotel Hotel which i felt pretty satisfied with the great offer, i booked online at Traveloka. It’s quick and easy as i can check the variety of hotel choices, services, facilities, rooms and special offer in just few clicks.
If you are looking for get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, spending a few nights at Sentosa hotel is a good idea. Sentosa has plenty of gorgeous hotels and resorts to choose from, such as Hard Rock Hotel, W Singapore, Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort and many more. This is the ultimate destination for families with have all those fun amusement parks, beaches and entertainment footsteps away.

Tips for Staycation Singapore : Activities

Sentosa Island
Even though Singapore is a small country but there are alot of things to do, my first choice definitely goes to Sentosa island!

Some of the attractions at Sentosa include Universal Studios Singapore, Sentosa beaches, Adventure Cove Waterpark, Skyline Luge Sentosa, Singapore Butterfly & Insect Kingdom and SEA aquarium..
SEA aquarium is one of the largest collections of aquatic animals in the world.

Universal Studios Singapore
As Southeast Asia’s first movie-themed park, you’ll never run out of fun and exciting things to do at Universal Studios Singapore. Some highlight of Universal Studios Singapore including TRANSFORMERS The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle, Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure, Sesame Street Spaghetti Space Chase and more!

Marina Bay Sands
When talk about Marina Bay Sands, the first thing that comes to mind is the iconic Marina Bay Sands Hotel with one of the best infinity pools in the world. Besides of that, there’s plenty to see and do, including Gardens by the Bay, ArtScience Museum and the Marina Bay Sands Skypark Observation Deck and a lot of culinary delights. There is the spectacular light and laser shows held at Gardens of the Bay and Marina Bay Sands every night that just can’t be missed.
