January 30, 2016

Did you celebrate your Chinese New Year in Thai style? hmm.. i mean having your Chinese New Year meals/gathering at Thai restaurant. What do you think 'lou sang' at Thai restaurant? You can have it now at Thai Syok!
Thai Syok located at Sunway Mentari, it is a happening area during weekdays beside LDP highway while weekends is a bit quiet and easy find parking. Thai Syok serves authentic Thai food and also yakitori BBQ. No matter weekdays or weekends, It is a popular dining spot in Sunway Mentari neighbourhood.
Toss your luck!!!
Special for CNY : Thai Inspired Salmon Yee Sang   RM38 (Half Portion) / RM68 (Full Portion)
This is my first time to 'lou' Thai style Yee Sang, ingredients are a bit different from the traditional Chinese Yee Sang. Thai style yee sang was added with Thai special spicy chilli and lime dressing, patrons can taste the sweet, tangy and spicy flavours at the same time.
Thai Style Boneless Chicken Feet
[Highly recommended] I don't like to eat chicken feet, but this sweet, sour, spicy chicken feet is so appetising and savoury! One bite of this crunchy boneless chicken feet will make you reach for more.
Deep Fried Pork Knuckle   RM 58
Must not miss this signature dish at Thai Syok, pork knuckle perfect roasted till crispy crunchy on the outside and fork tender on the inside, dunk it in their homemade soy vinegar dipping sauce, it's finger-lickin’ good!
Marinated Pork Belly  RM 12/ 3 skewers
[Highly recommended] It is so juicy and fatty!
Marinated Chicken Wing   RM 15 / 3 skewers
[Highly recommended] I love to eat chicken wings, it is so delicious and i wish i could have one more please~~~
Lemon Steamed Siakap (Seasonal Price)
[Highly recommended] This is my favourite dish and must-order-dish at Thai restaurant. The steamed fish with lemon juice, Thai herbs and chilli, simple yet flavourful!
Deep Fried Garoupa Fish in 3 Tastes of Spicy, Sour and Sweet (Seasonal Price)
I am not a fan of red curry, this deep fried Garoupa fish cooked in creamy rich coconut curry is not my cup of tea.
Prawn Cooked in Coconut Milk (Seasonal Price)
[Highly recommended] Succulent and juicy prawns make this as a perfect seafood dish, but for me the taste still not particularly spicy.
Thai Syok Pandan Chicken  RM17.90 / 5pcs
Red Rubies with Jackfruit in Coconut Syrup  RM5.20
This is a popular dessert in Thai restaurants, a perfect accompaniment after Thai food with its sweet, fragrant and refreshing taste. Simply awesome!
Thai Milk Tea  RM6
[Highly recommended] Thai Milk Tea is my favourite drink! It is more concentrated and flavorful with the aroma of black tea, pair this tea with a spicy dish and you're in for a real treat!
Pandan Lemongrass with Cincau    RM6
Green Milk Tea Malacca Sugar   RM5.90
Compare with Thai Milk Tea, this green milk tea malacca sugar is mildly sweet with a great light flavor. Give it a try. =)
Overall, it is casual and affordable dining at Thai Syok and its not a bad thing to enjoy their yakitori BBQ on a windy night.
