[Quick] Food Review: Hanamaru Udon

March 31, 2015

Just a quick one sharing post, for my brunch visited.
Usually i went to Mid Valley quite often, but i will only go to the selected few restaurants to have my meal, such a boring girl ? LoL! yes i am!
My mommy was boring to eat at same restaurant with me and wanna try a new one, so i think of this! When i reached, there are about 30% Japanese in the house. Hanamaru Udon is heating up the mall recently, what so special?
Self-serviced
Simple and fast : Queue up --> Order --> Pay

Check menu before queue up, don't get peoples stuck in a queue because of you don't know what to order!
Beef / Chicken / Kitsune Udons in menu, 2 size for chosen (regular or large). Some udon can cook in either cold or hot, personally i think large udon can feed me well, regular size is too small for me,hahaha!
After collect your udon, move your next step to fried tempura session.
Delicious fried tempura as side dish (optional)
Onigiri are selling at the cashier. I am so crazy on Onigiri when i travelled in Japan, so delicious! Well, i bought salmon Onigiri (RM4 each) to try and the taste is so sorry.... it is just taste like sushi rice + 50 cent size salmon flakes ==! Can you imagine the taste like you eat 95% rice and 5% salmon flakes?
Mommy ordered fried pumpkin and sweet potato tempura. (RM3 each)
Taste is quite floury.
Both of us ordered spicy miso chicken (large, RM 15)
Udon is slightly thicker than we usually eat, quite smooth. Soup is just normal, not spicy.
Drinks - ordered green tea (RM1.50 each, unlimited refill)
I would so bad to compare it with my favourite Ippudo Ramen, sorry to say that Ippudo Ramen is much more better.
But, i would recommend to you if looking for fast service and cheaper udon (u know Ippudo Ramen is so expensive-nya!) Their taste is not bad, also not the best one, but it is worth to eat. Especially their price is nett price, the price that you see in menu is what you pay at cashier.
Sorry for no professional photo and more photos, i feel a bit embarrassed when i took picture in a queue. hehe =P
